In May, we received a fairly ambitious task - to deliver and reload 5,500 tons of granulated sunflower meal onto a ship. Moreover, the customer did not care through which port, through Izmail or Reni. Neither port had a warehouse near the water to store such a batch. To solve the problem, we offered a direct option, through the port of Reni.

Why so?
Because at that time it was the optimal solution. Accordingly, this requires the coordinated work of absolutely everyone who is involved in the "direct option" work. The manufacturer must produce and load into the provided wagons, the railway must deliver, the port must accept and reload.
What do logistics companies do in this case? They organize, coordinate and, when necessary, adjust all components of this logistics process. And here there are not only technical components, but also financial and legal ones. Therefore, not everyone undertakes to perform the work according to the direct option, although many declare their readiness.

Was it difficult for the team?
Yes, it is difficult, because of the responsibility. The team is responsible not only for the cargo delivered on time, but also for the quantity of cargo, quality, for the timely delivery of the ship to the port, for the rate of loading, for timely payment of necessary payments.
The team is responsible to the customer for the cost of this service and is not entitled to change the agreed price due to reasons or circumstances beyond the control of the customer.
All the criteria listed above characterize a professional team focused on results. The result will satisfy the customer and allow the team to receive a new order. The result was, they received a new order. This is satisfaction from the process and the result.
